Hi, I'm currently having problems managing the heat in my grow box approx 2ftWidth x 3ftHeight, I can only close the door half way (as shown in pics) and the temps will still be 30.c sometimes more depending on the weather outside... I want to be able to leave the door completely closed to prevent me from losing so much light and also keep a steady temprature?

You need an exhaust fan pulling the hot air out of the box and a fresh air inlet other than the door.

Intake grill on one side of your cab near the bottom, exhaust fan on the top near the lamp, bulb. Smaller cfm fan should work. Pulling air from out side your cab around your lady then around your light then out, keeping fresh air circulating and getting light produced heat out of cab. Without a charcoal filter your gonna smell her! :2cents:

Just thought I'd chime in here to as I'm rocking a 250 hps too.

My cupboard setup has a 5-6 inch wide circular hole at about 8 inches up from the bottom back wall. That is my passive intake.

At the ceiling I have a hole which is the same diameter as my out take fan nozzle (ill edit and link to my fan) http://www.growing-life.com/shop/Extractor_Fans.html - the cheap one!

I pop the fan on top, in the hole, have a small piece of ducting the runs to a carbon filter and blows through that into the room ( so its sucking air through the cab, heat out of the cab, and clean air into the room)

It,s not super stealthy, but if you put things around the fan and filter, it's hideable and effective.

Just my thoughts as getting a fan and filter in that space might be too tight as it was for me

All the best

thanks for all the help!, i went ahead and put a small computer fan for the extraction at the top by the light, and cut a square double the size of the extraction as a passive intake, also moved it down into the garage for now and i can now have the door closed and temps are perfect Cool:

Here's some pics...
