Hi - i'm captcold from Canada. A 50something regular guy who has smoked on and off since I was 15 years old.
I tried my first grow indoors about 10 years ago, and it opened my eyes to how cool the plant and tending it can be for one's mental health
While life and work and the missus took me away from growing, I still enjoyed good weed. I was a member of Overgrow, and did a series on the indoor grow tent I built.
Fast forward a decade, I've now got some acres to grow on, and have taken up growing my own again. Last year, I grew out a few photos (Blue God and Afghani), as well as some Jack Herer autos I picked up from Crop King.
A decade ago, autos were just beginning, and their reputation was not good. A local headshop friend told me to give them a spin, that things have changed. And it really has.
What I got from those auto Jacks was good. I love the predictability, and ability to control harvest times. And now, cuz of where I live (great white north eh) I really want to grow more autos. Maybe even try to get 2 crops.
So, I happened across autoflower.net - and thought I'd say hello to the community. Seems like a good space.
I picked up some seeds recently (xmas gift for me - just had to), and will start an outdoor auto journal in a few short months. Really excited about a couple of them - Think Big's and Wild Thai Ryder's top of the list.
Anyway - just a first post to break the seal, and say hello to you.
