Welcome...I only have two words to describe how to grow autoflowers perfectly:

"Potential Hydrogen."

If your pH is squared away, they're light feeders and you can have a REALLY successful grow with SUPER mild nutes that will basically be on cruise control from day 1. If pH is screwy early-on, it'll be nothing but problems for 2 months. Good luck, I'd recommend starting in a nice soil mix, OR, starting in Coco and using either the Advanced Nutrients or General Hydroponics nutes for a simple 1st grow.

no ph problems in hydro so far, but from what i read dirt is a whole different animal. thinking about 3 or 4 3 1/3 gal air pots and maybe go with some fox farm soil. thanks for the advise on the nutes, i'll do some research on it. thanks
