Hoss, I'd avoid OF, we see too many problems with that soil anymore,.. poor quality (rocks, raw sticks and bark), and more alarming, many bags have super low acidity, talking low 5's here! ... Roots Organics is a safer choice, maybe amend a little extar lime in it, some EWC,.. and if you can swing it, get yourself the Accurate 8 soil pH probe (Control Wizard products)... a robustly built probe with a good rep',.. nothing is better than being able to test in-pot! Run-off is bollocks mostly,.. between adjusting your inputs first and monitoring your in-pot pH, you can avoid most all issues with pH, and have the right tools (pH meter, TDS/EC meter) for the job if and when you need to make corrections,....
thanks for the heads up on the fox farms @Waira ill have to try and find roots organics ill have to see if I can find it local being as I don't have a grow store anywhere near me closest one is 5 hours from me guess that's what I get for living in a rural area and shipping on soil is killer I actually found the fox farm at a local mom&pops feed and seed store
well, with that A8 probe, you can check the bag in store, and if you're lucky, it'll be OK,.. Happy Frog tends to be better for this, but check anyway,...
