So id like to introduce myself, call me Bobby. I've always had a green thumb, I grow a lot of other plants and have recently come across cannabis in the growing sense. I have found a happy medium in the indica strains, something like OG kush, for my insomnia, anxiety and appetite. I have found what I need, however the anxiety is still a bit of an issue. I heard you can harvest bud too early but I have looked at the trichs with a microscope and they are within range. From what my uneducated eyes could tell.

Power sun 400w MH/HPS - MH for grow - About 3-4 weeks is what ive been told for autos until the switch
2 x DWC 3.5 gl buckets - I think these might not be deep enough? Ive seen pics of huge roots.. .
2 x Coco 60 day wonder by DNA. - Sprouted today!!!!

Technaflora recipe for success, canna aqua and coco, Advanced nutrients kit. (Havent decided which nutes to use) Suggestions?

My main focus is the DWC girls. Ive read these things can grow 1/4 faster in hydro then coco. Ill find out I guess.
Ill start a grow log I guess, so if I have forgotten anything, or if you have suggestions please let me know. I know I have a lot to chew on by my focus is the DWC as I know its difficult.
Question. Someone experienced told me I don't need a ppm meter really. I find that VERY hard to believe. Please correct me on this as im heading to the hydro store this morning.

Another question. The two that sprouted came up in like 30 hours. My OG is just sitting in the rapid rooter doing nothing. These can sit for 10 days doing nothing right.. Im being im patient or should I put another one in to germinate. Its been 4 days for the OG. And its not expanded, or seem to be moving. I soaked it in water till it dropped, then stuck it in the rooter. I should have paper toweled it until I got a tap root I think... I may have drowned it or its just gonna take that extra time because I didn't put it in the towel. OH MY GAWD. SPROUT!
