Lighting Hey guys, help me pull an Oz per gallon pot

Okay i need the help of some serious growers. ive decided to give up the miracle gro and go with the good stuff. before i go out and buy something i want to know what to look for.

Let me tell you what im working with already
i am going to be using 1 gallon milk jugs
strains: dutchbreed mini mango, sta, lowberry, and mini thunderfuck
they all have potential so im not worried about the genetics

i basically just need to know what type of soil to buy and what flowering nutrients to buy and when i should feed them. I am not going to buy fox farms as ive heard to much bad things about them so please do not reccomend them. I will amend the soil with bio-tone starter plus for the veg nutes. most plants really like this stuff and i recently did an experiment on habanero peppers and gave them 4x the recommended dose and they loved it. So i will experiment and try to find the right balance for weed plants. Basically im not worried about veg nutes. just need to know what soil t pick up and what liquid flower food to pick up as well. I will also be using diatamaceaous earth to kill gnats n such, so if anyone else has experience with this stuff please chime in as well.


How many watts do you think i will need for 12 plants?

i've switched my priorities from growing to producing seeds, im still going to be using good soil, I am going to be using 3b mix with the addition of worm castings and diatemaceous earth to deter bugs. I will be growing in a PC case and the first strains i am growing to cross are green crack from Sickmeds seeds, and dutchbreed short term amnesia. Box is already setup with 1 23 w and 1 13, i will probably switch the 13 with something higher when i get paid friday. Silver wire is in the mail and i'm all set to go. just waiting on seeds to arrive, which is ok because i wouldnt want to grow any other strains right now

Its a long process when your only working with a pc case but i hope to upgrade in the future to have 3 of these.

Im not sure if i will do one strain at a time or do all the plants i wish to harvest pollen from first and store the pollen and then do the autos i want pollenated.

All of the final results will compromise of 50% auto genetics, this means if i ever want to replicate an auto line in the future after ive developed a line these will be the seeds i come back to in order to preserve the results of the final genetics.
