New Grower Hi all, new grower... is all this stuff necessary?

Not to hijack this thread, but is reflective mat. needed with LED lighting ?
 
Not needed but beneficial. White paint or vinyl (light color) will have good refractive/reflective properties as well, that will increase the impact/penetration of your lights. :)
