alright folks,
having just moved into a house that has a huge built in wardrobe i've decided to fulfill my lifelong ambition of growing some smoke. my plan is to place a board 2 doors along and stop one of the doors opening. this will give me a space a meter deep at it's deepest(75cm at the shallowest) and 1.7m Wide. The deep part of the wardrobe is about 2m high and the 75cm wide part has a shelf in so it's about 1.8m high. the shelf is open at the end so i intend to have a carbon filter on the shelf and a pipe going directly into the loft where there will be a fan to pull the air out of the room through the filter and will blow it into a chimney breast and away. for lighting i'm intending to hang a 600w hps in the widest part and a 250w hps under the shelf in the narrowest part, my plan eventually is to have 8 fast flowering autoflowers on the go at once, one being ready every week and another seedling going in.
for my first grow i'd like to try growing 6 autoflowers in a 6 pot autopot system. is this suitable? the medium i'm going to grow in is a 50/50 perlite and coco mix and the nutrients i've decided to go with are advanced nutrients ph perfect sensi bloom and sensi grow, will these be adequate throughout the whole grow? i have a limited budget and i'm growing this to invest into buying stuff for the next one so i'd just like to get my bearings and come out with something smoke-able at the end.
Another thing that's puzzling me slightly is can i germinate the seeds in the coco or do i need to sprout it in something else and then stick it in the coco? i've red that autoflowers don't like being transplanted as the life cycle is so short and stunting them for even a few days can affect it big time.
