Hello homies, just wondering if we could have a more recent thread with some updates in regards to high-CBD autoflowers. I've been searching all through here, all over google, and through the seedbanks, and have found that much of the info is dated. Interestingly, I've been researching "CBD Seeds" brand autos, and can find absolutely no evidence, lab reports, or numbers on their CBD content. In fact, it looks like they just took a bunch of random strains and crossed them with a Ruderalis they claim is a high-CBD, and called it done. The Lavender looks halfway promising, but no data.

I like the work of CBD Crew, and the recent work of Dutch Passion, but those are photoperiod. The DP CBD Kush is looking quite promising for an Indica CBD that I am really after :)

Without lab reports or at least some mystery numbers, I'm going to be having a hard time just blindly believing something is a CBD strain.

I'm hoping we can share any recent findings :) I know the cbd scene is changing rapidly, it is exciting! I'm almost brave enough to get some of those CBD Kush beans and cross 'em with a good Rudy to see what happens lol. So, who's making verifiable CBD autos at the moment?

I don't know of anyone Anthropolis, that I have seen anyways. My understanding is even in the photos there is a variation in cbd phenos and it is a very hard trait to lock down. Most breeders give a percentage, like 60% has the cbd trait. Then it is up to the grower to determine which are high cbd and which aren't.

I will keep my eye out for any autos and shoot you a pm if I see anything. :Sharing One:

There is only 1 CBD auto strain on the market. Med 1.0 :dunno:why i couldnt tell you, but i think it would be harder to make a stable CBD auto than photo.

Best advice is Go with trusted breeders so if they say "high" CBD its more believable, but Medicann has a awesmoe Auto called Kush Fromage that i can bet has a high CBD ratio but its has not been tested i loved it the best pain meds ive grown, but seeing as Medicann photos strains run 2-10% CBD id put money on thier Kush Fromage auto scoring high. thing is since autos are know to geneticly have high CBD ratios, so thats why medical users started breeding with them, but now alot of recreational smokers are growing autos so alot of breeders are trying to make bigger more potent autos ,rather than high CBD. u might not find alof of numbers on autos and CBD, id go with Med 1.0 auto, Dragon Masters, CBD Crew or start looking at some of the older auto crosses you may find something you like. :Sharing One:

Thanks for the great input! I had forgotten about Med Gom 1.0 Auto, I will very likely be giving it a try soon. At this moment, it seems that it might be the only verifiable CBD auto bred specifically for a good CBD count. I predict that there will be more coming out before long, as the demand for CBD seems to be increasing. I would even bet that Dutch Passion makes an auto version of that new CBD Kush before long :) For whatever it's worth, I can tell that there is a slightly detectable CBD amount in the Smurfberry auto that I grew / am growing, at least slightly higher than the pure thc strains I've been used to, but I believe that to be an artifact of the Ruderalis and the Blueberry genes. If I had to just take an educated guess, it feels to have about 1 or 2%.

These are certainly exciting times, as the genetic landscape is changing rapidly now with more options. I do love thc as much as the next guy, but I'm finding CBD to be a necessary additional option to my medicine chest, as it seems to soothe my PTSD/anxiety fairly darn well.
