Besides perlite, what do you like to amend in to coco? Besides calmag which is more of an additive.

I am currently trying EWC and biochar in my coco. That stuff changes coco a lot and you have to be careful to not add too much or coco won't dry out as well.

And I sprinkle in mycorrhizae on the roots when exposed in a transplant.

After the next harvest I want to put the roots under a microscope and have a look at them.

And I put in diatomaceous earth and crushed mosquito dunks when initially hydrating coco bricks for bug prevention.

I do the cal/mag+ at 10ml per gallon ph'd to 5.6, Bio-root/Mammoth P. And I like to use Great White (mycorrhizia). Basically, stuff I have on hand.

I can't really get Mammoth P in Canada. They are working on paperwork to import in to Canada. But they did send me a small sample for free which I use sparingly use. Wish I had more of it. And same for Great White or Orca, but they won't send me a sample.

Do you use Great White directly on the roots?

I guess I do. I start my plants in 2X red solo cups, with the bottom removed from the inner cup. Upon transplanting, I just make a hole in the medium and sprinkle the Great White in the hole, plant, water...and done.

What do I need to do to prep bushdoctor coco coir ex.flush, buffer 1st time trying coco coir
