I know this could be applicable to any lights not just autocobs.

But I have only 4 autocobs at 3500K. And I'm using them for grow/veg. Would using 6500K make a really big difference for veg? Has anyone done some veg growing with 3500K lights and then in the middle of the veg cycle switch to 6500K and noticed a big diff?

If... I had unlimited time and funds, I'd have 2 tents, 1 running 3000k and 1 running 6500k... it does make a difference... even in HID, you'll find MH in the majority of veg rooms and hps in the flower... 3500k is a good balance between the two. Decent growth with good flowering. But yes, there is a noticeable difference.

Ideally for veg would be 5000K 70/80 CRI. 6500K has a lot more blue and too little red.
Ideally for flowering? 1750-3000K 90 CRI.

I read 3500K can make them stretch more in veg. But mine are not bad at all. More short and squat.
I have 3500K cobs and have zero problem with stretching. I control that for the most part.

So are you happy with the 3500K in veg phase? Do you tweak or do anything to get more out of them for vegging? Supplement with any 6500K flouro bulbs?
