Hi AFN

Right. I've asked around on to get as much info on airpots as I can get. Some people say that plants grow much bigger yet iv still seen plants that aswome and still remain a good size for autos. Take Noods with his autos at the mo, they are in 3L airpots and look fantastic. Then there's J taNG who uses his 6L that are much bigger again and look fantastic.

Now what I have seen on a few forums is people putting 9 plants in a budbox XS which is 20cm shorter that mine and still grow brilliant plants and some with the same light as me a 250w hps pull over 1g per watt.

Now I know these are in 6.5-7l pots, I was just wondering is a airpot going to make a massive difference instead of a normal pot. I do not want to use 6L, I want to use 3L that's 4L less that a 7L pot, this is why I can't see why it wouldn't be possible? Maybe I'm wrong? Just seems that it would to me.

My light set up would consist of a 250w mh&hps or/ a GRow northern 006 which is about 270w max wattage I believe. What do you think guys? :peace:

IMHO I always use the largest pots I can. I grow in a DR60 II with a 240w uv blackstar and use four five gallon pots. I like trying to cram ten pounds of shit into a five pound sack.

So how does that work for you? Good yields I assume? :smokebuds:

I have that tent mate and I wouldn't attempt 9 plants in there, unless there dwarf single cola autos.9 plants in a 60cmX60cm space is gonna be tighter than a submarine door :D other than that I'd say 3-4 plants.it will depend in what strain you choose though, and using 3L airpots will still give you big plants mate,I grew a 120cm plant in a 3L airpot,my dr60 was bursting with that one plant.

Yields well when my inattentive ass doesn't fuck it up! I've been having ph issues the past few grows and finally bought myself a control wizard accurate 8 ph probe. Problem solved. I'm not sure if you're new to growing, but if you are I'd stick to larger pots at first, you have to keep the smaller ones dialed in pretty well.

I'm new to growing and I have had a few issues but every time iv had them I quickly can fix them and I'm surprised how actually easy it is, my plants are 6.5 weeks into flowering, they are smelling amazing, and are all frosty as fuck, I mean if you look close at them they are on the point of being white, and iv got 4weeks to go, which I'm hoping they are going to super frosty nugs. They all stand over a foot tall, I lst them and got a very good even canopy. This is why I ask, is a 3L airpot comparable to a 7L square.

Ideally I want to grow 4of my favourite strains.
Purple kush, BHD, jack47, and a sweet cheese.

Even if it was 9 small auto I would be happy.

I'm toying with the idea of doing a SOG auto run in my dr 60. I've got a bunch of one gallon grow bags I use for SOG in the dresser cab, could just stuff them in wall to wall and make a bunch of one foot bud rockets.

Glad to hear growing is working out for you and you're already able to catch and fix issues! I had to kill a few to get it :crying:
