Lighting How many watts ?

So i have still not bought an led yet just research research research lol.my tent is 60cm x 80cm x 200cm is there a max watt for this grow space ie can you have to much watts in a small space,what is the max you guys would recommend for this space i will only be growing 1 plant at a time.

Some people say 30 to 50 true watts per square foot is ideal. I have done ok with less than that but I believe that the range I mentioned is probably the best.

200-300W should work well, depends on light system of course.
Wattage is not the only thing to consider.

If spectrum is correct, you can grow pretty nice plants under 20w of led.

I agree. Right now I have 30watts (actual) with some T5s for side lighting. I hope to upgrade to about 50watts led light this year.

It all depends on what type emitters are used will determine the wattage needed
Cree XTE/XPE Are fairly cheap these days so I would at least make sure it had those in it
Vero29 and CXB3590s are the tops these days IMO
