Lighting HS1

Hello friends!

Got my HS1 and put them in a 1,2x1,2m growbox. I have some questions

1) In the pictures the HS1 light seems red/purple, mine is white(ish), how is yours?

2) If you put 2 HS1 lights in the 1,2x1,2m growbox and 20-30cm from the canopy then the light will be definitely concentrated in the middle but not really in the corners... it seems, there should be 4 HS1 per cabinet to be efficient I wonder how Tang did 4 plants in a cab..

On negative note, when i removed the diffuser from one light one LED light came off.. i kinda put it back but that kinda sucked..

Hey bro. Iv just started a new grow with 2 HS1's. I have mine in a Dr90 and my temperatures and always spot on, some of the best iv had. I was quite surprised how much heat the vent kicks off, it's very warm. Yes you a not wrong they do look very white and not pink, that's just how the come up in photos.

Hay bro welcome to AFN. We definitely have the same spectrum but the camera filtration can make it look a deeper pink,this is the palest pink spectrum I've used.

I would agree 2 isn't quite enough for a 1.2m but if you play with the angles and heights you will be suprised the coverage you can get. I think I moved the light 4 or 5 times through the BB Kush and Euforia grow. I think 2 HS1s are perfect for veg in are rooms but 3 for bloom would kill it.

Thats just the optic that's come loose by the sound of it bro they just clip onto the module I think so may have come loose in transit.

I just checked what time you posted this,at a guess I would have said just after 4:20 ie dab o'clock because of the temp talk tangent lol.

I am finishing up at the moment a photoperiod grow (5 ladies). Now i upgraded the cab to HS1 (two units). My setup is airpots 15L and was 600w HPS "superlumens". I grow in soil and use AN nutes (the whole range).

I hope to start a grow log next week, then i will be running 3 cab grows, one with 4 Hans Panels (if you know), another one with 600W MH/HPS (depending on the period) and one cab with two units of HS1-s. Will grow some autos (AutoXtreme and AutoUltimate) + Automazar, so should be fun
