I bought mine in 2015. Used it less than 10 times. It developed the dreaded handle crack that is well documented as an issue online. Bad plastic. Faulty manufacturing.
I have been told I'm out of warranty. Nothing they can do but offer me another at a discounted rate of $99.

This should be a recall with say a 5 year window in my opinion considering they know it's their fault.

I've also learned that the MBM2e is a glorified soy and ricemilk maker. Look there for a less expensive unit that does basically the same thing.

I've only used mine a couple times , but if you're on FB you should join their group on there. There's plenty of people on there that use it and have many tips, specifically this user named "Sage", who seems to be a MBM pro. May be off topic to your post but you may reconsider if you go on that group and see all great stuff this machine is capable of. And I'm not promoting it either lol, just thought I'd let ya know. The group is called "Magical Butter Users United." If you shoot me your email I may be able to add ya to the group, but not too sure how that works

I'm in that FB Group. I'm aware of the capabilities. I will not be promoting this company. In fact the opposite.

@SHRED so does the handle crack make it unuseable? I have a mb2e new in box never used it yet so thanks for the heads up.
It will eventually crack all the way around I've read. Mines bad.
I have a product called "Plast-Aid" I'm gonna repair it with.

I own 2 Magical Butter Machines, but rarely use them anymore. My handles haven't cracked, but there is another more serious problem. The heating element will scorch herb even on lower temperature settings, because the element comes on at hot temp even when set on a lower temp.
