Indoor I have a question that needs a quick reply please

Ok so I took over my mothers lease a few weeks ago, but she wasnt able to move out until yesterday. But I accidentally germinated the seeds a day or so early.. so I had to start them off in party cups in some 5$ Miracle grow Organic soil from home depot. I wont finish the grow in this stuff.... but I have a few questions.

When should I transplant them into their final 3 gallon pots into the FoxFarm soil? Do I need to wait until the entire cup has roots in it?

Also Will they be ok starting off in MG? As long as I put them in some FireFox soil within 2 weeks?

When I start in cups, I transplant when they show sex.

No.

Not an ideal situation... may be too hot for seedlings, and MG has a terrible rep for pH. Sorry... but, if they make it (and they may get through just fine), they will be fine from the time of transplant.

I water my seedling mix thoroughly before placing the germinated seed in it. After than, I use a mister to keep the soil around the seedlings moist, easily avoiding over-watering. I mist the seedlings, as well, when they are under cfl's or T5's... NEVER mist seedlings (or bigger plants either) that are under HID lighting.

Don't worry... you'll be fine. Especially, if you hang out in the New Growers forum some until you get your feet under you. There are several assigned moderators and assistants there, who work almost exclusively mentoring new growers. When your situation stabilizes more, you may want to start a grow log there, so they can be available as things occur.
