Hi everyone,
I was wondering if anyone who grows with soil has ever tried putting earthworms or red wigglers into the soil? I was thinking I could take them out and reuse them. I use fabric pouches as pots. I'm looking forward to hearing what you think.

I use both types in my grows but I do not move my soil I re use and amend as necessary. Don't see why you couldn't re use the worms so long as you keep them fed and happy and are not rough on them to sort them out.

I think there is definitely a method to using worms in your soil... not only do you have to worry about your soil being just right for cannabis plants/roots you then have to factor in that being the home for the worms as well, I also believe worms thrive in damp/moist soil -- which could then pose problems for your cannabis roots if soil stays wet all the time.. just something to think about..

Rock on, happy Growing!

Thanks, that makes a lot of sense. I hadn't thought about the worms being in soil that is too dry.

Great question my friend.

Releasing a secret...I do it a few times a year to my outdoor girls some years. Go out when its damp and pull a few dozen nightcrawlers and dump around the base of photo plants...even if the worms dig down and leave the soil, they leave tunnels for excellent aeration. ;)

Sorry no input on potted worms.
