New Grower i have some questions

I have a grow space 18"x42"x6' I would like to grow two lowryders I'm planing on useing two hydrofarm flcdg125d 125 watt compact fluorescent grow lights will this work? Do I need more light?

125 watts per plant is plenty.

Will these lights work all the way through to finish?

id add more in flower myself, sounds adequate but not perfect. you want atleast 3-5000 lumens per square foot. you take the length and width not height of the grow area.

You could add some small cfls to the sides with those 125'as well.


One thing to note is even though light schedule plays little role in the plants, spectrum does.

ive always seen lumens being used over watts due to watts being very different output/penetration wise across different types of lighting.
or maybe youre just talking cfl.

Go with what Goauto6 or Squid said..prolly did the math for ya ..or know off the TOP lol one thing here ..no one will steer you sideways when it comes to the PROS..read everything check facts and look for the stars in the name for solid advice ..not to say a star makes you smart ..but at least it doesn't make u dumb ..WELCOME TO THE AFN ARMY :group:
