Did not have to speak with anyone until after I ordered and they answered all my questions about the light
Wattage of the LED ( actual power draw if poss):
says 240 but people at gotham said its 140-150w actual
Optics used :
“The Blackstar V2.0 uses aluminized reflectors which are each unique to every LED on the board. Reflectors are each custom designed and tailored to increase coverage area and keep power on the canopy. You will also notice that the reflectors on the perimeter pitch outward more than the inner ones. What this creates is a hybrid lens capable of both deep canopy penetration as well as others which now cover an unparalleled coverage area. The coverage area on the best selling model the 240UV is now 25% more than it's predecessor. The best part is that this new 240 Blackstar V2.0 is also more powerful while covering all that extra space. Average PAR readings from the new light are 15% higher than the comparable original.”
Build quality: 4/5
Very Soild don’t like that the hangers came pre-adjusted and there is no on/off switch but im sure not it wont effect how long it works but so far its BLOOMING!
Warranty length :
3 year limited
Any noticeable plant deficiencies :
Nitrogen! And its very slight! I have not had Cal+Mag issues with any of the LED’s yet
(fingers crossed)
Value for Money Rating..1-5: 4/5
for 280 its probably the best light you can get at the price IMO, it’s a flowering model and boy do my plants respond to it once they get switched over under it! Just wish it was at least 180w actual draw. But im not complaining at all!
Addition info :
I kept my light at 9 inches all during flowering and no type of heat stress or burns,
I think it’s a great light for micro spaces because of how close you can keep the lights and with the reflector lenses it has a better plant coverage than if you where to keep another light that close to your ladies.
