Hya community! Im thinkin of using coco coir to grow some TD. Is it ok to re-use coir? And which nutes are best? And at wot strength/ratios

Hi community, whats everyone's thoughts on re-using coco coir and is it ok to grow think different with coco nute (house and Garden)?

Welcome to AFN spliffy. From my perspective, I see nothing wrong with reusing coco or peat mediums so long as you don't sow directly to them. You will probably want to "wash" the used medium by running a few gallons of weak nutrient solution through it. That should pull out any residual salts that may have been left behind from the previous grow. I grow organic mostly using coco in my base and reuse my soil with every grow. That being said, I always sow in fresh peat and transplant after the plant is about 6" tall. There are a few growers here that use H & G with good results. No reason you can't use them in coco. Thanks for your great input A4! I flushed the 20ltr pots with about 60ltrs of ph'd water, well until the ec run-off was under 0.7 which I will keep this value until week 3. My 7 TD's have just shown. I planted 7 seeds but in two of the pots, 2 sproutlings are standing; so it looks like there's 9! Has anyone else experienced this?
