Howdy All !
Iam a lurker newb grower (2nd - grow), and I am experiencing major issues on 1 of my plants. West coast og from FastBuds. the problem started from the beginning ( after the germination) .I am growing in hydro under mars led in 18l cont. Nutrients are Remonutrients full line, the plant is 3 week old and i follow Remo schedule. Ph 5.8 , Ec 1.4 ( exactly same feeding schedule has my other plant GsC also from FastBuds and its growing without any problems).
Reserv. change every week. I am thinking Cal/Meg deff?
Any input would be appreciated

Also looks close to N toxic judging that dark green. Could be the lighting though.

I agree with @Greenbusch the light can probably go up a bit. But I also believe you can up the cal/mag as well. My tent is 5ft tall and when the tall girls go up the tops of them look exactky like this. 2 things... Luke green stated the lights (mainly led) cause it and it tends to SUCK the cal mag right out. I honestly have found no remedy for it yet. I'm currently ting like a 200%dose of cal mag to tru and help and next run I'll be trying 2 seperate types of calcium calcium phosphate and calcium carbonate to try and fix it...

And the GSC next to that one is just a strain that tolerates it better. Some of my plants will be ate up with this and some are perfect green. But they all flower so I would say take slight adjustments but overall hold the course. Your not far off from perfect health

Much appreciated, the lights are up and i will add some extra calmeg. I jus started week 3 , will add extra 32ml calmeg (tank is 18l).

10 4 bud keep us posted and tag me if I don't respond

:smoking: looks like a good call to me guys! Iron Bear can you get me a whole plant pic please? I'd like to see the top of the plant at least, for light stress signs, and see where the symptoms are occuring; Ca defc. tends to hit mid-to high up, since it's a largely immobile nute withing the plant..Perhaps use another light source, something that will show her true color better, unless that a fair representative,... She does seem overly green, hinting at mild N toxicity; any clawed tips? I ask because excess N can interfere with Ca uptake, a possible contributing factor,... What was the light distance to the tops before, and now? This increased Ca-Mg demand under LED's has yet to be explained to us, though there's no doubting it's an genuine issue!
... you say she was showing similar symptoms pretty much from the get-go? Could be it's just a touchy pheno' as well..
.. the nute' sched' might have been a little heavy-handed for an auto, though these days it seems there's a wide variation of tolerances... N is one thing that's easy to overdue because plants are hardwired will take it all up whether they need it or not, and there's only so much they can use and cumulatively store before tox' issues start up,... just one feeding can tip it over the edge between OK and tox troubles!

Howdy!
Much appreciated for all the attention concerning my current issues with my "Girl". Like i wrote before i was following Remo nutrients calc. (I have the whole line from his company, and I don't see any issues on my other plant (GsC-picture incl). Current Ph 5.8, Ec-1.5.
the light at the beginning was at height 22cm now i moved it up to 56cm, since yesterday the plant stretch up visibly, also I used foliar spray made from ph 5.8 water and MagnifiCal (remonutrients), spray was used since first signs of deficiency (without any success). I am attach. images of the problem "Girl" (west coast og - Fastbuds-- and her sister GsC- also Fastbuds). GsC Ph 5.8-Ec 1.4.

Sorry for the quality of pictures but I had a elbow surgery 2 days ago and its hard to do anything with one hand. The plants had reservoir change on Monday - 3rd week.
Ty to all that responded to my problem .. Greenbush, A-Train, and Waira. (btw its boar not bear)

:baked: Iron BOAR, right,... what'd I say??
....Okay, the lights were certainly too close, making a Ca defc. worse I believe,... Very odd the Magnifical didn't stop this yet -- note that it has 3-0-0, so that deeper green could be, in part at least, from the N that's in the formulation,... Ca is very dicey hydro in that "optimal" pH range, so that can contribute to the problem as well,... are the symptoms still advancing? I think it'd be good to get a Ca-mg supp' that isn't nitrate based, or is lower.. GH makes a CaMg+ that 0-0-0, all carbonate based, and the hydro/synthetic version is only 1-0-0,... wise of you to go foliar too mate! :d5: A tip: check out Optic Foliar here, and on the web,... one of the products, Transport, is perfect for any foliar treatment; it's penetration aid, allowing temporary absorption through the entire leaf surface..
