New Grower is 60-63f to cold?

Good morning AFN so I did my first lights off check on my ladies and I knew temps were low around 60-63 with lights out but didn't think much of it.

Well low an behold they were all quite droopy. I have my oscillating fan going 24/7 and my exhaust/ passive intake running frequently throughout lighrs on and twice while lights off.

I haven't noticed the same amount of trich production that I'm used to at this point but gurth on the buds seems quite nice. Should I try to bump up my night temps a few degrees? I feel like my only option is to run my light an extra hour and a half and cut the exhaust for that same hour. I can upload pics after work but you can check my thread for pics till then if need be.

My daytime temps are around 73-78 lights out 60-63 what are some thoughts on trich production at these temps? I'm growing 2 Russian dragon Dom crosses.

I would consider a lights off temp of 60-63 to be ideal ... :smokebuds:

A ten degree drop at night is totally normal.
your temps are in line.
plants go through perky and droopy cycles
when they dont perk up after lights on you maybe having moisture issues.

my tent's at night are 55 to 60 deg. and are just fine! my auto tent run's on a 20/4 cycle,(led's) along with inside fan.my tent's are three room's away from a woodstove in n. maine.:smokebuds:

Hey Mc Lovin',

I think your nighttime temps are fine. I often go lower than that in the green house. However, as you have already suspected, they respond better when the temps are higher, I usually have my temps during the day up to 82-84 degrees F. Longer cool down time, and "In my opinion only" I think they like a largely defined temperature fluctuation. I don't usually come out with Theories, unless I am just jabberin' But this is one theory I am trying to test out. It is January in California and I have Auto's in the greenhouse. Amazing, but if the weather cools down, I have to bring them back in.

You should be fine.

Thanks for that everyone its been something I've been considering for a bit but only 43 days in hah I think I'm going to add another hour of daylight and still cut my exhaust to let temps jump before lights out.

I guess I'm just impatiently waiting for the sheer beauty of colas glistening with flavorful terps and trichs

That's what I do raise it to 79 and drops to 67
