Is this a fake Accurate 8?

So I received an 'Accurate 8' pH soil meter yesterday..

I'm just not sure how 'Accurate' it is to the real thing.. I'll post a pic once I figure out how to again.. It's been a while..

Nowhere on packaging does it mention Control Wizard or Accurate 8... I reckon it should & I've been diddled..
It seems to work mind you but if ain't the real thing then I don't want it.. Not for the price I paid to be sent here..

Looks the same, I have had mine so long I forgot the packaging to be honest bro.

Did it come with a couple of pink scrub pads to clean the electrodes? I remember that about mine.

Nope.. I remember reading that as well.. I've mailed said hydro store so we'll see what they say... If anything at all.. Silence speaks volumes.. But I'll give them time to reply.. Not that they havnt had plenty..

Its amazing and how much cloning the chinese are doing these days. Literally all industries are copied. In a totally different field that I work in, even life-long distributers can't tell the difference on inspection. Yes, these do go into the official distribution chain amazingly... In some cases units are even sent back for warranty, taken apart and identified as fake ONLY because of the low quality internal assembly (semi-give away) and electrical wiring used (100% confirmation).
