Yes my growbox is in an airy loft.

.5) Do you have an exhaust fan and a circulation fan?

No circulation fan but i've grown succesfully without one before.

.6) What are the bulb wattages, kelvin ratings, and schedule?

LED is on 18/6.

Your medium:
.7) Specific brand and type of soil, (coco, peat based soilless...) and anything you've added to it. (vermiculite, perlite, worm castings...)

Plant Magic soil supreme.

.8) Size of container.

3L

Your nutrients and water:
.9) Source of water. (tap or filtered) What's it's ph?

Tap water PH is 6.2

10) Method of checking water ph. (ph pen, test strips, aquarium test kit...)

PH pen and strips.

11) Method of adjusting water ph. (phosphoric acid, white vinegar, hydrated lime, PH Up...)

No adjustment.

12) Specific brand and N-P-K ratio for each bottle. List dosages (quantity per gallon) and current feeding schedule.

Plant magic grow nutes. 5-3-3. Fed every watering, 1ml/L.
Plant magic biosilicon. Fed every watering, 0.25ml/L.

13) How often are you watering between feedings, and how much per watering?

Watering once a week drinking 1.25 litres. Using wet/dry cycle.

14) Any additives or tea's? (Superthrive, CalMag, molasses, Mother's Earth...)

No.

15) Are your ph levels stable, or do they fluctuate?

stable.

16) What is your ingoing water's ph? ...your runoff ph?

Ingoing 6.2, outgoing 5.5

17) Do you foliar feed? If so, with what, how often, and at what time do you spray?

No.

21) Have you seen signs of insects in the growroom?

No. Also checked underside of leaves with loupe and no spider mites.

Your strain:
22) What strain are you growing? (Indica dominate or Sativa dom?)

23) Is this an photoperiod strain?

No.

28 days.

25) In what life-cycle is it? Vegetative, pre-flowering, flowering, rippening?

whats with the algae on top of the soil ? i was going to mention over watering but wasnt sure , once seeing the pics thats my guess

peace

Thanks bob.

That soil always does that. I've used this soil the past 4 grows and it gives me results like this :

All.jpg

Only thing different this time round is LED instead of CFL and my tapwater is different since i've moved.

I think maybe the water is too acidic so it's locking out Mg but i'm not knowledgable about sick plants.

What's a good way to change ph without chemicals, i've read dolomite lime but it's slow-release and can cause probs later ?

white vinegar ph down ,<--- sorry , edit , im sleepy/dumb right now , i think apple cider vinegar , id say google it or search the site here , im a bit worried my mind is going

baking soda ph up

i dont see the algae on those plants soil like the first pics you posted , but ill take your word for it being common with that soil , but imo if its doing that then its over watering due to the soil retaining moisture too long , does it contain moisture beads/gel ?

yeah imo its moist too long

not saying im right , just doin my best to help

peace

Thanks bob. Ye it starts off with the green stuff then it goes away during flowering. Having said that, the soil is retaining moisture longer than normal because the LED gives off a lot less heat than the old CFL.

Man, i thought women were complicated, plants are even more so ! (Well, maybe not ...)

Forgot to say, yes it has Fytocell in it which retains moisture.

to me the 4th pic looks like overwater wilt but the 6th looks like the start of mag def,,,but im struggling with problems myself so that's just my opinion

You've got nutrient lockout caused by low soil pH. You're feeding at 6.2 but your run off is 5.5. That means your actual soil pH is probably somewhere around 4.9 or 5. If you look at this chart you can see that almost all the nutrients are unavailable to the plants at that low level.
ph vs uptake.gifph vs uptake 3.jpg

Also bear in mind that nutrients lower the pH of your feeds. Make sure you check and adjust your pH after you add your nutes.

Thanks all :) Turns out my pen battery is low and i read the stick test incorrectly, i bought those triple-test strips and i read it the wrong way round ...

The strips now read around 6.8, the pen says a different thing every time i try it, i added bicarb of soda and the ph went down !

Anyway i'm going by the strips now. Also i just realised those lower leaves should be dying by now, i'd forgotten that, been a while since my last grow and each harvest kills a few more brain cells :)

They are a bit small for day 28 though, should have pistils by now but we'll see.

Thanks for help and advice, steely.
