Hello buddies, this is my very first time growing and I think I am doing something wrong.

It looked like nitrogen deficiency to me but i just wanted to get your opinions as well. Who knows maybe it is actually nutrient burn.

Here are the pictures of my girl.

Problem: Lower leaves are dying. I don't know if something else is wrong as well like colour of new growth on top.

Medium/grow method: Its standard soil. Pot is 0.5 litre. I don't do any training etc.

Feed: and supplements used: Advanced nutrients' micro-grow-bloom trio. I was putting 0.5 ml each to 0.5 litre bottle, after seeing this issue I put 3ml to 0.5 litre bottle and gave water 2 times that way.

Water Source: Its bottled water and it says 6.25 ph, I don't know actual ph though, I don't have ph meter. I kind of blind trust Advanced nutrients' ph perfect technology.

Strain/age: Just a seed from herbs I got from outside. Its her 26th day today.

Light used: 3 X 23 watt CFL bulbs. It is a micro-grow

Climate:28-32 degrees celsius & %25-35 humidity when lights are on, 22-24 degrees celsius & %40-50 humidity when lights are off.

Much love for help friends!

Someone more experienced might disagree, but the dark green leaves look more like too much nitrogen, so I wonder if it's more nute burn. It looks like quite a small pot, so perhaps less nutes are needed. Hope it works out

What brand of soil is it?I have been using the same nutes with no problems. The bottle dosage is 4ml per litre or 16 ml per gallon so your way low on your dosage.Up your dosage and remove the bad leaves and hopefully she will improve.

do you water/feed to get some run-off? AN nutes self buffer only in solution, once in pot, all bets are off, too many other influencing factors! Symptoms look like early K defc.,....let's see if the elevated feeds help....

sorry to hear about your problems mate. im half way through my first hydro grow. (2nd overall)
however, i reckon ive made that many mistakes with this that i can tag @Waira @jingo @Mossy
and be confident when i say......

* the leaf tips curling upwards are a sign of undesireable environmental factors.
• fan to close or at the wrong angle from the canopy
• light to close
• not using proper extraction/ poor air echange
or any combination of the above.
had these issues been sound then it couldve been a nute def.... but.......
the green in the middle suggests youve thought it was a nute issue and corrected it with a heavy dose. the leaf margin curling down for the middle growth says youve over fed it and environmental issues still remain. presented still, by the leaf tip curling up.
the new growth is where it gets interesting as this is most likely a nute deficiencey......basic nute deficiences at this stage would present themselves in the lower leaves first. the fact that the new growth is turning yellow from the stem outwards though. that to me suggests calmag and/or iron deficiency.

is there anything i missed? been waiting for a chance to do this. never been so addicted to anything as i am to learning about this stuff. love it!!!!'
please say i got that right!!!

haha your already here wiara. hes the guy to ask mate. a guru by all accountsz

I'll feed them plain water next 2-3 cycles, thanks a million buddy.

It's brandless, local soil. I did the exact same thing, hopefully it will recover, much love.

Yeah I always make sure to have some runoff just in case. Didnt know ph perfect thing worked that way :D Thanks a million!

In terms of light and air exchange, I think it is fine since I've been following micro-grow community here long time. But the fan inside might be too close, ill move the plant. Lets see how will 3ml nute/0.5 lt water will change things. Thanks a million!
