Finally got everything setup and kicked off my first ever grow in the last week.
Breeder: Royal Queen Seeds
Strains: Northern Lights Auto x 3, Fast Eddy Auto x 1
Setup:
4 x 4 x 6 tent
5 gallon fabric pots
Biobizz Lightmix soil
Humidifier - Amazon Special
Heater - 1500 watt ceramic
Honeywell tower fan
6 inch Silent 250 M3 Fan ,Can Lite Filter
Inkbird Wifi Temp & RH Controllers
Biobizz Organic Nutrients full range
Light: Spider Farmer SF 4000
Environmental conditions: 24c/75f & 70% RH
Day 0 - 5th March
Tap water left out for 24 hours in advance for chlorine to evaporate. Biobizz root juice added and then PH adjusted to 6.3. Pots soaked to run off and then left in the tent for a few hours to come up to temperature. Seeds sown directly into the soil for this first run
Day 1 - 10th March
Woke up this morning and the first of the NL ladies has shown herself. The other 3 don't seem far behind - can almost see them poking through the soil so hoping to wake up tomorrow to 4/4. In hindsight I probably dug the holes for the seeds a bit too deep hence it taking so long for the seedlings to break through.
Pots still nice and heavy so no water yet.
The seed casing is still attached in the below pic, assume this should naturally fall off in the next day or two ?
Everything going OK so far apart from a lack of patience
.
My light is set to minimum on the dimmer currently, at what point in the seedlings life should I start cranking it up ?
