Hey fellas starting my first medicinal auto grow. I have decided to start a journal after reading inspiring journals from Tang, Robwars, Hazy and Billy Wu. I love reading on this site because I have seen nothing but positive and helpful comments from many members. I hope to learn more from everyone.

Lets get to it shall we?

Environment: Indoor
Soil: Black gold coco blend cut with perlite
Container: 5 Gal air pot, 4 Gal air pot (2 - 2gallon air pots tied together)
Light: LED Lighting Bluesea H162D 350w
Nutrients: GH Flora Series (Grow, Micro, Bloom), CalMag, Superthrive, Rapid Start
Water: Water i buy from water stores
Light Schedule: 18/6

The one in the skinnier pot is either a TD or AMazar, I germinated 2 seeds together and forgot what was what. This plant is at 15 days. I had to figure a way to keep the plant upright without having to bother the roots.

The plant next to it the the TD on Day 11.

So far I have watered them twice with a solution of
2L clean water
.2 ml Rapid Start
.2 ml calmag
a drop of Superthrive

So far so good, the air pots are great cause i thought i was overwatering, but turns out the plants are still kicking strong. The TD gets noticeably bigger each day.

I have a few questions, hopefully you all can help me with. Simple explanations, links where I can find info would be great.
1. Judging by the way they look, would it be okay for me to start a light feeding with my GH nutrients?
2. What exactly is ppm? When I stick it in my solution above it reads 94. I have read that it supposed to tell you how strong your solution is, does that mean "the lower the better?"

I will try to update weekly.

Subbed up and looking forward to watching your grow. Just harvested several BlackBerry Kush photos, myself for meds. Very purple flowers, and very good nighttime meds.

Sorry, but I can't help you with bottled nutrients,as all I have grown in is TLO supersoil.
Go to the thread that is linked in my signature, and you will definitely get the right answers that you are looking for.

Sending you much growing Karma!

Peace!

PPM is parts per million and is used for hydro. You should be using a PH meter. You can start your veg nutes at 1/4 strength and make sure you water entire pot until you get runoff

Ah yes, I have a ph tester for both liquid and soil. So far my soil ph is around the 6.8 range. I will try to post my runoff ph in the next watering/feeding.

Using the solution I mentioned in the first post, my ph for the solution is at 6.6.

Another question I was wondering. Lets pretend that my soil is around 5.8 and my solution is around 6.8. Would the ph in my solution affect the ph of the soil and bring it up to balance so it's not so acidic or would the only solution for that be to use lime?

Also, lets say my runoff is at 7.0 ph, would that mean that I may get a bit of nute lockout. What should be considered?

Also, my PK and last TD seed have sprouted today, I'm keeping both in the same pot as I am planning to try crossing them and see what I get. Don't know if it will work out well, but I am willing to experiment. Wish me luck.

Day 21
Both have been taking off and the stems grew significantly in girth over the past week.

TD 1 is on day 21, i looked closely and it already has little white hairs coming out.
TD 2 is on day 16 no signs of sexing yet, will update next week.
TD3 and PK are on day 5 since germ

Both td1 and 2 are at about 6 inches tall, been giving them a light feed. I am thinking of going full strength on my next feeding with vegetative nutes till week 6, since the stems are pretty thick now, lmk what you guys think.

My TD1 looks really bushy and clumpy, very slow on the vertical growth, is this normal?

Day 24
Got a much needed upgrade in the mail (150x150cm tent).

I also put up another light, an SP 110 140w LED. Hopefully this will help get light between the dark spaces for better growth.

TD1 Day 24 has grown quite much, I have one branch that actually has 2 tops, trippy, i will include in next updat
TD2 Day 19 Plant has started sexing, white hairs coming out already.
TD3 PK Day 8 Sprouts are looking good.

So far I see no signs of nute burn. My ph runoff is 6.5, my solution goes in around 6.6-6.8. That's okay right?

I have also started some LST action. Will update again next week.

Day 29

Current Weekly Feeding Cycle:

Feed measurements per gallon
GH base nutes
5ml floragro
5ml floramicro
1.5ml florabloom
.5 ml superthrive
.5 ml rapid start
5ml calmag

Watering
.5ml superthrive
.5ml rapid start
5ml calmag

Watering 2
2 liters chlorine free water
4ml of Bud Candy

I use chlorine free water for my solutions.

So what I've been doing is giving them a feed once a week with a couple of waterings if the pots get too light. My current solution ph is running somewhere b/w 6.5-6.8. Runoff is about 6.8 ph. So from what I have researched so far that should be okay yeah? Also,

TD1 day 29
Plant is starting to branch out. It is almost 1ft tall, is this height too short for 29 days? There are so many branches in this plant that I'm having a really difficult time trying to tuck the bigger leaves. From the looks of it, would I be expecting a growth spurt soon? A very interesting thing about this plant is that one of my branches actually splits into 2, idk how that happened.

TD2 day 24 This plant has such fat leaves that they're overshadowing my budsites. Very difficult to tuck, I'm actually lst-ing it to see if I can get the branches to pull themselves out further. The growth rate on this seems to be much better than TD1 as the plant is almost about a foot tall.

TD3PK day 13 These 2 plants are coming along nicely. I forgot to mention that they are growing in black gold seed starter soil, it's all they had at the hardware store plus I wanted to see how well they would work, they seem to be growing a lot better than when TD1 and TD2 started out.

I had a 7Gal Smartpot laying around and decided to drop another PK.

Questions:
1. I have ordered myself the hobbyist bundle from AN which comes with: Big Bud, B-52, Voodoo Juice and Overdrive. I also have Bud Candy. I plan on continuing to use the feeding nutrients mentioned above throughout this grow, however would anyone suggest any of the AN nutes that I can safely add to my feed? Example, could I include Voodoo Juice, Big Bud or Bud Candy to my feed or should I include it in one of my watering solutions?

2. How much can I use Voodoo Juice and when should I drop it?

3. Rapid Start is pretty much a root stimulant, would it be wise to use it throughout the entire plant life cycle?

4. The plants are already showing pistils, would it be okay to start giving them Big Bud?

5. What would the ripening period be for an auto plant, I am not used to autos, so the phases the autos go through confuses me.

I apologize for all the questions, I have many lol. If anything, would anyone happen to have a link to a sample feeding schedule for autoflowers? I am having a difficult time searching for one online.

That's all for this week, I will see you all again next week, laters!

Day 36

TD1 Day 36
Two words for this week "Holy Sh*t!" Last week I was wondering if the plants were too short because the TD1 was almost a foot tall, but throughout the week, the growth and stretch just shot up and this plant exploded 9 inches in height and has crazy side branch growth. I'm starting to think that this may not be TD, but AMazar because like i mentioned in the first post, one of the seeds died and i wasnt sure what i planted. We'll see in a few weeks.

TD2 Day 31 Same comments from TD1 but I must add that this plant seems to be budding much better than TD1.

TD3PK1 These 2 plants are coming along nicely, I am trying to bend the tops early so I can try to get more side growth, just an experiment and we'll see how that turns out.

I received my new AN Nutes and had a difficult time trying to figure out a cycle for my weekly feedings so i decided to go with the following cycle:

feeding > supplement > watering

Feeding
GH Floraseries (Gro, Micro, Bloom) as my base
Superthrive
Rapid Start
Calmag

Supplements: I have the following AN nutes (Voodoo Juice, B52, Big Bud, Bud Candy and Overdrive)

For the bigger plants, I gave the following last week:
Voodoo Juice
B52
Big Bud
Bud Candy

For the small plants
Voodoo Juice
B52

Watering The watering is a diluted solution of:
Superthrive
Rapid Start
Calmag

All solutions are balance to 6.2-6.6 ph

I am thinking of dropping the Superthrive and Rapid Start soon, perhaps after this week.

I really need some advice for my weekly feeding cycle. Is it okay? Am i giving the plants too much. I am reading the plants and so far they look pretty healthy to me. Any suggestions on what I could do to push my plants to their limits? Many of the things I know about growing I have learned from reading journals on this forum! Thanks all! See you next week!

Help! I have started developing some leaf problems on my TD2. Here are a few pics, i have 3 leaves that affected, one of the leaves feels like its getting a bit crispy at the tips. This seem to develop overnight, when i fed them last night there were no spots. Feeding was last night with the following:

1 Gal solution
flora gro 4ml
flora micro 4ml
flora bloom 4ml
Calmag 5ml
ST drop
Rapid start .25ml

solution ph was about 6.5
runoff ph was about 6.8

I did some reading and some say that it may be a cal deficiency, then I also read that it may be too much calcium...Idk what to believe. The rest of the plant seems to be fine jsut the tip cola fan leaves that are affected. Please help!

*Note: I always use calmag in my weekly cycle of feeding, supplement feeding and waterings.

Day 54 AutoMazar

IMG_0141.jpgIMG_0150.jpgIMG_0154.jpg

This plant was mistaken for TD when i first germinated 2 seeds, one died and I got confused which was which since they were germinated in the same tupperware.
