Hello, I have never ventured this far into a project.

My favorite plant, Tutankhamon, has her leaves curling at the top two layers.

She has tried persistently to grow into the 1000W light, but I have prevented this for the most part by raising the light a few times and gentle training with yarn.

I have keep her up to date with General Hydro nute schedule, starting slow after veg started. She has a smart-pot that and moisture meter for H20/feeding time.

Her cola is HUGE. Well over 1" almost to the top. Closer to 1.5" at bottom.

I fear it is heat. If I raise my light higher, my Indica gals are not going to like it.

Is it possible this is natural as she is starting to approach full bloom?

heat stress dude, no doubt! Look into super cropping, or serious tying/bending,...

How far should I bend her over.....cola is VERY strong? I do fear compromising my favorite flower. Will I really hurt the rest of the gals by raising again and/or will Tutt just keep going up?

Not trying to be difficult, also, how about moving the main cola from the light and putting a 40W CFL over the lead bud?

research it mate, I've not had to fight your fight before, but supercropping done right can be great.. it's a method for bending the stem to kink it, but not break-- ballsy, I know, but this is all I can suggest,...

Just when you think you are smart, I realized she has had the prime spot in the tent since day 1; right in the middle under the light. I moved her to some 3rd rate real estate and did a gentle tie. Fingers crossed.

I did read up on supercropping. From previous journals I read, it is my understanding this technique is too stressful for Autos? This said, I am really starting to wonder if some "wives tales" of autos have been outlived since the early 2000s?

Ehh it's not a wifes tale. I would say it has been mislabeled though. You could screw the plant up, but no more than anything else that can stunt an auto.

Biggest risk is infection, same as photos. If you would like to SC it at anytime, I'd help you with it... Just let me know.
This is an auto the got SC, you can see the leaves in the top/center facing you. (plant on right)

Haha no matter how many times I've done it, I almost get the sweaty palm thing going, and am scared to sneeze! This is the most recent photo SC, and it was about sharpi thick when I did it. Thought I was going to have a panic attack. In all reality, it's easy, just goes against natural thinking. Like your breaking an ankle to prepare for a race.
