Could I please get some advice concerning the leaves getting ugly on this auto under Mars 900 in soil, 3 weeks into flower, started 1/4 strength Fox Farms trio 2 weeks ago.

Needs some Ca. Are you using any CaMg now? What is your water source. LED in conjuction with RO/DI water dramaticly increases demand for CaMg supplementation. Also P demand increases during flowering also, and Ca and P def symptoms can overlap some, but my money is on Ca def in your case with the 900 watt LED.

Thank you. I have used 5ml of cal mag/gallon of distilled water which is what the label advises (3-5ml). How much should I increase?

:yeahthat:... P-K demand is high now as well, so up the conc. to half strength and watch how she reacts,.. I see ever so slight tip burn, older I think,... If it starts advancing again after feed increase, back off again to 1/4,....

Will do- thanks. Another photo concerning the calcium problem, how much Cal Mag plus do you suggest that I add per gallon of distilled water? Have been using 5 mg per gallon. Light is a Mars 900 ( 400 watt) LED

With distilled water and 5ml/gallon CAL MAG, do you think this is a Calcium problem? Most of the plant leaves look orange under light (Mars 2 900 LED)?

Hi Mr Red! I'm Blue ... so feel obliged to help one of my "primary" buddies out if possible :D

The cal mag problem is most likely caused by the LED. I say this becuase i have seen the problem countless times and have run LED for years.
You could mix up a foliar spray of epsom salts to help out, or add some cal mag to the waterings.

Mostly i don't get to concerned about it, even though it's very ugly, i can't say it's effected any of the quality of taste .... perhaps yeild is a factor to not running things perfectly, but they always seem to make it to the end and provide enough .... Like champions!

Hope this helps

Thank you- glad to know I can make it to harvest like this if needed- will increase Cal Mag in watering.

My Trainwreck Auto is 32 days, bushy. Bout 10 days ago, yellow tips started showing up, still does on new leafs. No sign of yellowing prior to that.I have fed it mainly water, along with 2 more TWA, and 3 Jack Herer Auto. Two JHA just started yellow tipping also, but only like 4-5 tips total per plant. The trainwreck has dozens of yellow tips. range from .5 inch to .75 inch, tips only, bright yellow, no browning, no advancing of yellow down the leafs. I fed it 1/4 tsp. grow per gallon, as with all the girls. Just two times, maybe 10 days back. yellow tips showed up, been straight water since then. I did do my first soaking thru (i have cloth pots) yesterday for all plants. I adjusted the light way up, about 20 inches, and set ballast at 50%. Not sure how lower ballast will affect the girls, I did position my inside fan to blow right over canopy. Been keeping about 75-79 F, and humidity between 65-70 rH. Have a humidifier running, of late, it drifts above 70 rH, not sure, had to shut it off occasionally to lower rH, even with humidifier off, that started yesterday. Given so few Grow nutrients, not sure a flush would do much. This is my first indoor grow, 2 grow total. Not sure what else to do, maybe a Cal-Mag additive? Any help appreciated, thx.
