hi folks!
just wondered if anyone can help me. i went away for the weekend and came back to find some yellowing on the leaves of one of my plants. i'm thinking i probably splashed her with water as i did water just before going away but i'm a first timer so any help would be appreciated.

i'm growing 5 fast & vast, 1 somango, in 'plagron light mix', no ferts added, under 250 watt hps.

Hi AO'- That looks like physical damage, not a defc/toxicity issue,....water/nute' solutions on the leaves is not usually a problem, but if done under strong light, the droplets can cause a lensing burn, shape just like that,... (left on undried during dark cycle invites mold/fungal attacks, which this isn't for sure..) Watch those spots for a day or so, and see if they worsen, just to be safe! let us know if they do, but I don't expect further prob's with them,...

temp is round about 30 degrees (30 °C = 86 °F), don't know humidity, water ph 7.5 going in, soil ph 5.5 - 6.9 according to the bag.
light schedule is 20/4.

Have you checked the pH of your run off water? If so, what is it reading? Your temps are a bit high. Under HPS lighting they should be in the 78 - 80 degree range. I can see a bit of up curl along the edges of the leaves, which is an indicator that the heat is too high.

Also, that Plagron Light Mix only has enough nutrients for the first week, so you should be feeding some mild nutrients at this point.

thanks muddy!
i'm hoping the temperature will come down when the weather changes, til then i'm keeping the cupboard door open a bit.
i've got a bottle of biobizz 'biogrow' but i've been a bit timid about using it. i'll try it tomorrow when i water.
