Hello I have some impresive plants going but one has developed this issue where the leafs are clawing towards the light. No its not heat I dont think. My lights are vented outside with a 6 inch fan and carbon filter. I also have a 6inch line from a airconditioner thats routed in and can be turned on if I want to which doesnt have to happen much. I have 2 thousand watts in a 7 by 7 by 9 area. My plants are huge for autos, some have to be 3 feet and I super cropped them to get the bottom branches to catch up to the top put off flowering i think for a week or two stressing them like that. I had one go hermi I think from letting the medium dry out for to long. That ones gone now. I have Russian Rocket fuel, B.H.D,Fast Bud, and out side I have AUTO Bombs, Super Cali Haze going. Please if anyone has any advise or can put me in the direction of some better stronger autos Id love it. My first autos I ever grew were free bees from marijuanaseeds.com and were some easy ryders (ak 47 and low ryder 2 cross) and those 4 plants gave me a total of 10 ounces dry weight of cleaned up nugs. One plant was very small because i left it in a tiny pot till it flowered. One of those got this claw thing real bad too so it has to be something I am not doing right because I have seen it in 2 diffrent strains now. PLEASE DO NOT SAY IT IS NOTHING LIKE SOMEONE TOLD ME LAST TIME THIS IS EFFECTING THE PLANT THE LEAFS TURN UPWARDS AND THEN ITS LIKE THE EDGES START WILTING AFTER AWHILE I USE ADVANCED NUTRIENTS SENSI Bloom PH perfect, Bud Blood, Big Bud, Sensizym, Nirvana, Bud Candy, Magical(by Techna Flora) Voodoo Juice, Hammer head,Sensi Cal Bloom(just ordered), I Ph my soulution between 6.1 and 6.4 I have been feeding light about 1 THRID OF FULL DOSE. I also flushed be4 flower and last 2 feedings have been full strength and the larger plants seemed to like the extra food it also seemed to help with the claw on the other plants (2 other ones were starting to get the claw when I gave them a large dose of ferts and the liked it). I just tried to give the Fert that I have for my house plants that contains all chems and is heavy with epsom salt and after I did that the one didnt seem to get any worse but hasnt got better either.

Looks like heat stress, you didn't mention the temp. Also its not isolated to one strain, everybody's hurtin. I would be curious to your temps.

yeah def could be temps... even when air temps are ok you'd be surprised what a plant's surface can reach under those super arcs your running there! :)

sounds like maybe a touh of mag def... but if you're running heavy epsom salt you should be ok... tsp per gallon every other watering... def check temps closely though

HEAT STRESS HEY?

OK I dont mabey it is but I do not feed them epsom salt ferts I have only tried it recently. I was thinking it was a mag dif to so I bought Magical by techna Flora and feed my previous plants that. The one that had this didnt really respond. I only JUST GAVE THEM EPSOM SALT FERTS , AND THAT HAS ONLY BEEN ONE LARGE DOSE SEEMED TO STOP IT FROM GETTING WORSE. Now what I dont get it is that my other plants are not doing it like this one ya they are a tiny bit but no more than any plant I see in high times. And if its heat why is it the plant thats further from the light doing it its the one under the fan and its not the tallest either. HEre is my set up my lights are about 18 inches off the tops also the room does not get above 80 degrees and usually is around 75. I will go buy a better thing to get the temps of the canopy. I have a fan blowing over the tops of them and a 6inch 465cfm inline fan hooked up to a carbon filter and blowing threw my cool tubes which keeps the temps down nice. HERE is some pics of my set up. I am growing in sunsine mix number 4. I use advanced nutrients and have just recently switched from photo plants to autos. PLEase help. Could this have been because I sprayed while the lights were on. But then if that was the case why is it not reverting back to the way it was. Here is a video of my grow room notice the plant thats doing it is located close to the air inlet and under the fan and furthest from the light. IF it is a mag diff how long will it take to correct it? and if I have never feed them epsom salts could that be it I just feed them a single dose of this fert I had for my house plants it appeared to be heavy with epsom salt so thats why I used it. IF you still think heat then let me know what suggestions you have. That pic was not of plants but is a plant (auto) I super cropped most of these and man oh man was it a good idea. at the ba ck of the room there is three and on the wall with the fan there is 3 they are very nice size plants for a regular plant. Not to mention the bottom branch tops are the same height as the center top. I found super cropping is allot better than topping or anything else it also alowes better air movement underneath since the bottoms look like they were lolli popped but werent. If anyone has advice on something I should do diffrent please advise me always welcome to suggestions. WONT LET ME UPLOAD VIDEO SO HERES SOME PICS I am leaving now to go get something new to take the canopy temp as well as epsom salts

Ok Damn you guys are good I think it may be heat after all. I bought a new temp gauge and put it on the canopy and it was at 87 degrees and I know its been warmer than that in their so I moved up the lights about anouther foot so they are about 2 and half feet above the canopy. I am now getting 78 degrees on the canopy and thats without the air on just the exhaust filter and fan. Thanks I will keep a eye on it also want to know what you think about me putting each light on for 9 huors then shut it off and the other flips on just on the real hot days do you think that will effect yeild much that way for 9 hours they would have direct and the other 9 the other light still throws light their way while that ones on just not direct. LEt me know what you think of that idea. Thanks so much Also if you have any auto strains you think would intrest me please advise me of what they are. I am looking for the strongest and most potent i can find. I find the easy ryder is good but doesnt last long enough and after a few weeks leaves me wanting more so thats why I am growing autos. I will be strating a grow journel now.

Glad you got it figured out bro... was going to say 1000w lite 18" above your canopy muchless 2 of em is mighty hot. If I mite suggest a rule that I use, hold your hand palm down at the canopy hieght, find the place that is comfortable & it should do well for your plants.
