Hello Everybody
I'm new to AFN and to growing. I started 3 autos, THC Bomb, Big Bang and Ultraviolet. They are at 10 days since appearance of seed leaves.
Medium: Roots Organic
Containers: Solo Party cups
Light: 240W LED 16-17" away
Water: Tap pH=7, last watered on Monday
Temp: 70-72 F
RH: currently around 40%
Nutes: nothing yet

They seemed OK until a few days ago, when I saw the leaves curling at the edges....my RH then was very low (27%) so I've been using a humidifier to raise it to 40%. I will be watering from now on with distilled water, and I am hoping to pot these up in a couple days in 2 gal Smartpots.

Here is THC Bomb

And my tiny Ultraviolet, started curling UP today

Can anyone suggest what's going wrong? Any pointers would be much appreciated!

TIA and hope everyone's having a great grow and a great day!

I would raise your lights up a little for now. When you transplant try and get your PH down to 6.5 give or take a few points. Also raise your temp up to at least 78 or 80 degrees.Your humidity should be higher preferbably around 55 to 60.After there in the bigger pots let us no how there doing and we'll go fromthere.

Thanks so much namvet25! I raised the LED by 2", turned up my heater and humidifier. Getting hot in the grow room! Thanks also to everyone here - been lurking and reading and learning alot.

Good grow and good luck to all

Just a tip for your humidity problem without using a lot of electric, take a bowl, boil some water and let it cool for 5-10 mins then fill the bowl and leave in your grow room. It raised my humidity % by around 10-15. Good luck and Keep it green :)

I think you've hit on the problem yourself, and as always spot on Namvet. Tap water contains chloride, and possibly clormide. Both do a number on your micro heard in your soil. Letting your tap water sit out for 24 + hours will let the chloride evap. There's lots of good stuff in tap water, but as with all things there's always bad with the good. Best wishes.

Hey Nam, so are you saying it will be better for my plant if I leave the water out for 24h before feeding?

My girls looked exactly the same when I had my light too close. 7 ph tap water wouldn't hurt them that bad imo. I think they are showing signs of stress from the light being too close - raising it should help a ton. best of luck.

Sorry for the delay...busy day today. THX everyone for the pointers. The young ladies seem to be looking a bit better already! So much great info here, you can really lose track of time. Thank you for taking the time to help!

Peace and health to all.
