Im using the black /white poly film. Do you think something silver reflective would work better?

I just get mylar space blankets from ebay for cheap. You can usually get four or so for around 8 bucks. I know thicker mylar is better but it's really expensive if you are on a budget.

You have to be careful with them, they are thin and flimsy but work very well for hanging on walls. They are folded in perfect little rectangles which you can carefully unfold and hang. After hung (again, it's light so taping is a breeze) you can trim off the excess. You can use the folds as a cutting guide. Love the stuff. If something happens just replace since it's so cheap!

Black n White or Orca film is way better then Mylar. It was tested in european institude for lighttechnology and Mylar makes a lot of darkspots where black and white film gave none. I wouldnt switch to mylar only cause most of the tent producers do. Mylar is said to reflect 98% of light...which is true but not the light plants need. Par reflection is way better with black n white film

Interesting. I have to admit I thought OP was posting about literal film that some was black and some was white. I have to look into this stuff. Is it commonly available? Does it retain heat like mylar?

Edit: Just looked at their site (googled Orca Film). I will be doing some research on this stuff, sounds like it would be ideal for LED! Kinda spendy but if you get a huge amount of light bouncing back... Probably pays for itself :)

Nben the Homebox tent series are made of this Par+ black n white film. I noticed a lot of diffrence between the Secret Jardin and Homebox Tent....sadly my Homebox one is too Big to fit in my Room with the new Furniture....but im thinking of getting a smaler one asap. Plants did grow so much better in the Homebox.
