I was testing at first with my first grow but then everyone on another forum told me no need so i stopped and all went fine. Am wondering why they said dont need to ph

With organics, I find a lot less ph is needed... but I can assure you... I've checked a few times and had problems... and made corrections before a problem....

I've also watched problems go real wrong....

see the ph link in my sig... theres pics and explanations and videos and all... real good coverage of the topic. It's importance is the most overlooked thing by new growers.

depends on how your soil is amended as lime does buffer ph!! I now use dolomite lime with my FF soil as yes it buffers my ph but I always check but then again, its me I like to make sure things are on check, doesn't hurt to stick a meter in water!! But thats me..

I tested my soil ph and it came out to 6.8. Does this mean I have an iron deficiency?
