I'm about to start my first Mephisto beans and I see that a lot of people do 20/4 over 24 hours of light. What are the reasons for the dark period?
Proper photosynthesis, this is a common debate around here, Sure they can grow under 24 hrs if light but as someone who has tested 18/6 20/4 and 24/0 the only thing i saw increase on the 24/0 was my light billI'm about to start my first Mephisto beans and I see that a lot of people do 20/4 over 24 hours of light. In the amount of time that it took you to type out that comment you could have copied the link like you did below. Which is much appreciated, im not trying to nit pick here but the last thing a new member wants to see is that type of response in their thread,It's hard to answer this question if there's a post of 10+ pages. I read that exact thread up to page 11 and read nothing but opinions so I figured a new updated thread would be quicker and more accurate
