hi can anyone please tell me what is the proper
distance to grow autos, when i grow my plants grow
so tall i have to place the tops on side of the light,
is there a way to keep them the size you want them to
grow, i heard that starting them a little early with
tiger grow from fox farms will stop the vertical growth,
please let me know if there is a set way to keep
your autos the size you want them to be,
thank you

Hey, I really do not know :)

misinterpreted your question before, but you ought to be able to tie them down?
Do not know if it's right but know people who tend to do that sometimes when they get too big! but do not too much trust in my answer! but I'll look into it or ask someone to give you a better answer :)

hope you have a wonderful day

The size of pots u use would Also limit there growth as well, that or lst or scrog works great. If u plants hight is a problem i would recomend looking into scroging them.

You can do 12/12 the whole grow to keep them smaller if u want. You definitely should do some low stress training to keep them away from light or just by a nice 7 foot tent

LST your plants. Should be able to train any plant to the size you want with LST.

Hello one a day there are many ways to keep your plants at a smaller size, light schedule will not effect height so I would not change to 12/12. Most common way to keep your plants at a certain height is to LST, another way that's already been mentioned is pots size but that doesn't not always work I've see plants stretch 3+ feet in 1.5 gallon pot. So you'll have to do some experiments to see what size pot will give you the results you want. Another way would be to switch to Bloom nutes(not grow) to stop vertical growth but once again that doesn't always work because some auto still stretch after entering flowering and another this is some plants get stressed if switched to bloom nutes too early.

My overall recommendation would be to LST
Pot size and switching nutes earlier is a more advanced technique stick to the simple one of them all and tie them down to maintain the height you desire. :Sharing One:
