New Grower Lights on , Lights off ?

Hi guys today I'm starting my first autoflower grow, I'm growing Sweet seeds, sweet auto skunk. I'm using Hydro, 600w Hps lamp in a 120x120 tent, what Im abit unsure of the light times for these baby's, I was thinking 18/6 veg then dropping down to 12/12 for flower but people have told me to keep them on 18/6 so any advice on this from people that know would be great help.

Any other helpful info on growing these autos would be greatly received
P.S I will be posting a grow diary in due time on this strain as have found no info on AFN as yet.

Almost everybody goes 18/6 for lighting.You can go 20/4 but I don't think theres is much more benefit from going 20/4.

Most auto growers go for 18/6 20/4 or 24/0 the only time you would want to do a 12/12 with autos is if they do not auto or if the breeder states they will benifit from a lower light cycle.. I tend to do 20/4 for the first few weeks then flip to 18/6 ive tried all differant combos of light cycle and i prefer 18/6 during flowering..

Welcome to AFN bud I'm growing the same bean as you mines a week old and under a 125W cfl using soil so itl be interesting to see the difference in growth I reckon yours will whoop my ass. I'm pretty new to this aswell but if you neeed anything I'll do my best to help you out I'm subbed!

I prefer 20/4. Also i noticed your grow space was 10x10?(120x120) Not sure if 1 600 watt hps will be enough.Depends on how many plants you are doing i guess.I try to do no more then a 3x3 area with a 600 watt light.

That's 120 cm I believe. Makes more sense to me.

It is a 120cm x 120cm tent sorry being for not being a little clearer on that. It is a 8 pot hydro system that im using so that 600w should be just fine
