Good morning!
I see DLI seems to be a useful way of dialing-in our lights, so for curiosity sake I want to calculate the DLI of my 65W, 3500K Autocob in my 2x2x4 tent. I have a couple of questions, though.

1. In cobshop.net (maker of the Autocob) there's the following info... since I don't have a PAR meter, I'm trying to use this info to do my calculations:

Intensity*

810 ~umoles with reflectors @12"

630 ~umoles @12"

310 ~umoles with reflectors @24"

220 ~umoles @24"

These values are PPFD, right? Not PPF?

2. @Mañ'O'Green , I read somewhere you said 20-50 moles/day/m2 is the target for our plants. Is this DLI range for autos only or also for photos?

...

Any help is appreciated, including links to other threads or articles or book discussing this. Thanks!

Yes those are PPFD numbers but 12" is really close and will not give a very big footprint. As far as I know there has not been any scientific study on the light needs of Autos vs Photos. Personal experience has me using about 20% less light for autos.

Good thing I reread this: That is the desired DLI not the u-moles.
