19"x28"x32" cabinet
[2x] white 15' -300 led strips
[2x] blue 15' -300 led strips
[1x] red 15' -300 led strips
white shower curtain
16 quart plastic bin
45 lpm air pump/ 1" air stones
3" Attwood exhaust blower

cut the white and blue strips into 5' lengths and the red into 1' lengths
strips were backed with adhesive and stuck nicely to the white shower curtain. wrapped excess shower curtain around a piece of plywood, attached red led strips to it and hung it over the top. exhaust blows into cabinet next to this one.

The idea was to SOG the Low Widow, so I topped it about week 8 [just about the time I found this forum and discovered cloning is not such a great idea] It did cause the plant to stretch horizontally and I got quite a few bud sites, plus the top is still kickin with 5 bud sites of it's own. [pic 2] I opted not to clone off the branches, but I am interested in any ideas of how to put autos back into veg after harvest.

I'm using General Hydro 3 part nutrients and just switched to the "bloom" phase [1/2/3] It seems to be working ok... just a little slower than I expected. Seeds were advertised 12 week harvest.

changed out the water today with fresh rain water. [15 ppm 6.4 ph] I'll let it sit for a few hours and see if she drinks any before I add nutes and adjust ph.

I think your going to regret those strip lights, they are seriously under powered, I don't care how many LEDs they have. You need the intensity of at a minimum of 1 watt LEDs, the ones you are using simply donot create enough PAR, or lumens per se. If your on a tight budget, get some CFLs of at least 23 watts )( 100 watt equivalent ). you will want to use 3 or four at the minimum. or get a 90 watt UFO style LED grow light, and supplement with a couple CFLs. You can get a 90 watt UFO from ebay fro around $75

It does look cool, so I give you points for that :)

Yeh... This is what happens when you just plan, prioritize, and budget.

L.A Confidential.

Used UFO - 50
Bucket free
Pump 20$
White paper to make room - free
Trio nutes 50 bucks?

so under 150 bucks would yield you this. Priceless

But very cool. Looks like you had fun. Those cheapo LED UFO things are really affordable now. I just don't see the return vs initial cost. At all.
