I have never tried crawfish but I have seen a lot of tv shows based in the south that cook them a lot.Is there a time of year where you can get them cheaper?I can get them on line but with shipping it gets alittle spendy.Walmart has a five pound frozen bag for fifteen bucks so I might try those.

OMG! I wouldn't eat anything wallyworld sells lol! you near a creek or river? get a trap and catch them. We use them here mostly for bait, but they are good to eat. Small mouth Bass love them!

IMHO, I would look around to see if there are any restaurants that has crayfish on their menu. Then I would go and try it out once, and to understand how the texture, taste, temperature, and spiciness are. So that way if I like it, then I'll understand how it tastes like, and then search around to buy some and make it myself.

I believe certain foods - all, but those that come pre-made and already cooked - are okay at walmart. I have many friends who works there (especially the meat, and electronics section) that always buys the meat from there for a cookout / bbq / party.

Hey nam take a closer look at wal mart again. They now carry "crawfishboil in a bag". Its a simple single serving kit. Should cost like $5.88. My kids love em. I do to but cant indulge like I want to. They are really high in cholesterol.

What state do you live in? There's a guy up here in Washington that imports live crawfish from Lousiana.

Crayfish can be found in all 50 states!!! Or so I read someplace. I was surprised they are in Montana but not so much after seeing that video. Cant wait to hit that lake with a home made trap!
