What is this? I have never seen this growing out of the side f the stem. The second pic is the rest of the same girl. Please tell me it's not a hermie! It does have a white hair.

Edit.....Sorry for posting in the infirmary. Please feel free to move it if needed.

It looks a little weird, but with a white hair coming out, it's a female flower.
...but out the stem like that?
If it is a hermit, is it possible to remove the one or two sacs and the plant remain fem and bud as usual?

...Hmmm, a closer pic would help,.. you're certain, there's a pistil poking out of it? It looks like it to me, but the shape is suspect for sure, as is it's odd positioning.... I'm with Weed', yank it, and inspect closely from here out,... usually, male flowers will form a short stalk, but with herm's, odd things can happen!

Thanks guys! I yanked it off although not careful enough to view the hair but oh well. Should I isolate her? I have Blackstones and sour blues going in the same tent and I DO NOT want any chance of pollination. I do have another tent and light.

Sorry Waira, I can't get closer with the crap I've got.

....if you zoom in on the second pic, at the bottom of the stalk, just behind the pistols.
If this is in fact a hermie, I'm thinking I should probably cut her? I mean if she is, she'll continue to produce male flowers which could potentially release pollen. Is that correct? @Waira

I still don't believe its a ball since it had hairs coming out of it.
I had the same thing on my Northern Light grow and I didn't pluck it and nothing happened...

Thanks Cyklos. I believe you and trust your judgment. I am sure you can understand my concerns! The rest of the plant looks great. My fingers are crossed that she'll be fine and I will definitely keep an eye on her.
