Hey everyone.

I have a question about the apparently 'low' grow height of LowRyder..

Everywhere says that the lowryder should average at about 12 inches.. Mine are 35 days old and are at 33"

Are they known to grow this high?

Doesn't sound right, not that I am complaining.. I would just like to know if this is uncharacteristic.

Regards,

MaGiKaL

Sure glad you've got the space ... only a small percentage get above 18" ... looks healthy ... should provide a great harvest ...

Nice :)
I also had some lowryders that grew tall, 2 feet roughly so that's 24inch, had diesel ryders that grew higher still but they were crap, worst any of my plants have yielded.

Under ideal lighting conditions, they stay around 12 inches.

Yours look like they are outdoors in an environment that does not get sunlight all day every day. So they have had to stretch in their hunger for more intense light. It's no big deal. You should still get some decent smoke...although don't be surprised if the buds are a bit wispy. I have found that Lowryders are best grown indoors if you live in the UK or some equivalent climate. Still, yours look happy and I wish you good grow karma!

I hope you continue to document this grow because I was considering an outdoor LowRider grow next summer in a UK sort of climate ...

I have a diesel ryder that just turned 6 weeks. she is 22 inches tall, 16 wide, and has about 18 tops that are fully flowered, fat, and average an inch long already. oh and she smells nice! close up flashes show lots of sparkles! this is my first grow btw and I'm having problems posting pics right now but I plan on starting a log.
edit: I do have pics in my album on profile.
lets try this...
