Coco happy frog mix. GO line. 5 gal air pot green bottom.
Been feeding on the light side tap water around 80ppm
5ml calmag
10ml biothrive
2.5ml seaweed
5ml bioroot
adding some microbs too.

co2 around 1400ppm
temps 68-78 with RH all over the place. say 60% and under most of the time and 80% peak for a short time.

I think this happened because I cut the above rate in half and was watering 2-3 times a day.
Not enough calmag. I have given about 7.5 cal mag and 1-2mg of Epson salts the last few waterings
watering once a day around half gal with maybe 1/8 run off.

Thanks

What stage is the plant in? Have you taken a soil ph? Maybe the CalMag is locked out? Nitro lockout? (That's why I ask what stage the plant is in)

Has it responded at all to the boost in CalMag? The watering seems frequent to me (the other reason I ask about what stage it's in)

Whats the PH of the water and the run off?

seems to be on the high side last time i check 6.3- 6.5 or so.
I was phing my general organics down to 5.7-5.9. They say no PHing is needed. so many mixed answers.
On the light feeding it drops my ph to 6.3-6.5. Been phing down with botanicare. maybe 1.5 ml per gal.

newer growth seems to be fine. I just put her into flower, 12/12 light change tonight. I will up the veg feeding this week without phing, and her dry out before hand. then into flower with with out phing flower nutes.

I was under the impression that for soil-based grows, 6.3-6.5 was completely "wheelhouse" range for maximizing mineral, macro and micro uptake. (6.5-6.7 actually but that down to 6.2 was fine for veg)

Hank, she looks Ca-Mg defc. to me,.. the spots lined up in rows like that aren't typical, but it's still fits best symptom-wise,... the yellow that high on the plant/new growth sure looks like N defc.,... Mg is mobile, so Mg defc. starts lower down on leaves that are being tapped to support new growth,... Ca is poorly mobile, so it affects mid' to upper leaves more,... I suggest a foliar spray to get stuff in fast, and bypass the roots,... maybe, as a clone, they're not quite up to speed with the rest of the plant...? how long ago did you start with the Ca Mg? it may be a few days before symptoms halt.... a couple years ago, I had some clones that loved the foliar treatment method! If you do try, use a water spreader/ wetting agent in the soln. to cover more evenly and max' the surface area for best absorbtion... let us know, if you've not done this before, and we'll give some how-to info, etc,...

Thanks guys. yes the PH I was running is for coco. I was trying to treat it more like coco and using the happy frog to help retain a bit of water, light starter nutes ect.
I foliar feed last night, mix of calmag and kelp. Made it a light mix about 1ml of calmag and the same of kelp to 1lt of water.

The area where I am getting the brown spotting is up around the top of the plant HOWEVER it only effect a few of the leaves. You see light blotching on some of the other leaves.
I put her into flower last night, and will give a heaver veg feeding maybe tomorrow morning.
Something to the effect of
15ml thrive
8ml calmag
2ml epson salt
4ml bio weed
and 8ml bioroot.

Ill run that the next 2 waterings then give a light flush with bloom early next week sometime.

I dont see it spreading anymore or changing much. Figure a little bump the first week into flower should help with any N diff
going on now or to come.

Feed back welcome if im wrong.

Thanks again all!
