Extraction Make your own Canna Chewing Gum

After the interest shown in this diy Cannagum thread over @ Autoflowr.org I thought i would start it back up here @ Autoflower.net
I will also be looking at starting a Canna Gummies and a Canna Hard Candy thread too, if anyone is interested.
If anyone has any requests on how to make any other Canna confectionary, just let me know and I'll see what I can find.


Ingredients
Mason Jar or similar
Vodka
Weed (approx. 1 dime bag)
5 Gum brand chewing gum

Directions
First I found a mason jar that could could hold the weed and the vodka.
What I did was pour in enough vodka to cover the weed entirely, then i shook it a couple times every hour for a day and then I just let it sit for about a week or two.
After that I placed a piece of 5 gum (5gum.com) in the jar and let it soak for 1 day, then I let it dry in the open for 1 day.
After that I ate it!
It gives you more of a body high then a mental high, but you do get both. Try it out and tell me what you guys experience. For the gum I used I put about a ten sack ($10 of weed) in the jar, but i think you can put less.

I'm not gonna say this recipe is perfect,maybe someone can perfect it and use this recipe as a place to start.

60g gum base
60g golden syrup / corn syrup
120g / 2/3 cup icing sugar / confectioners sugar
2tsp flavouring / essence of your choice
5tsp food colouring

You can use powdered colouring / kool aid packets if you prefer

The gumbase was acquired online from http://www.gleegum.com

Then just add your concentrate of choice (you may need to thin it out with a bit of grain alcohol to make it the right cionsistency in order for it to blend into your chewing gum mix)

I had some tincture on hand (so didn't have to wait a week) and two pieces of gum.

I let them soak for a day. They came out very soft and have not dried yet.
Maybe the brand of gum...Stride brand is what I used.

I like the idea of making canna gum...
I found a store that sells the gum not the base so I ordered some gum base...Thanks for the link!
I got enough for 8 batches...Plenty to play with!

The first method is what I stumbled on and is what made me make this thread.

To be honest it seem like quite a naive first attempt by someone to make cannagum.

I consequently did a little look around and found the youtube video and the chewing gum kits.

I love the fact that you have tried the first method and shared your results

The result whilst not perfect should still get you baked.

I am really looking forward to the gum kit that you bought and see how that turns out.

It will cost me £26 pounds to get a kit sent over as shipping cost as much as the kit.

The kit will make 6.5 OZ (182 Grams) and if I allow lets say 2 grams a piece then the kit will make 91 pieces of gum.

I mentioned on the other thread that you can't knead it enough, the more you knead it the better it becomes.

Not enough kneading will result in a bitty gum that will break up in your mouth.

With this in mind, it got me thinking, why not get some ready made gum and heat it and add Cannabis extract and re-knead it.

This would negate the need buy a kit and if it works anyone could do it.

Currently I don't have enough stock to make any concentrates unless I use AVB but think I wanna make canna butter with that and put it in a cake.

I may just try re-heating some gum just so I know if it will work when I do have some extract.
