New Grower Male/Female Seeds?

I read something recently sorry i dont have a link:Stones slap: but it said that theres a way to tell males from females once they sprout! it also said that its 90% sucess rate but thats pretty High in my book, but it states that Males sprout from the sides and females sprout form the tips is there anyone here that can verifiy that?

Im seeing alot of people talking about it on other forums when i google it but im not finding the original link, its driving me crazy because i bookmark almost every page i learn something new on, and i thought i would have marked this one. One day i will find it and post it, but from what im seeing alot of people are having the same results on other forums, cant see exactly how many because i dont belong to those sites. doesnt sound right to me, i mean from seeing my seeds all sprout while still sitting in a glass of water and quite often sprouting without even sinking , and every seed sprouting the same way and ending up with typical M/F plants

but who knows, its an interesting thought

I understand and thought somone would disagree, and its ok really all I can say is keep it in mind when your seeds sprout and see what comes of it. maybe its fact, maybe its myth? Thanks for the reply bob cause ive never seen a seed sprout from the side but at the same time i dont think ive ever had a male plant yet. i too have had seeds sprout and stay on top of the water.(been praticing germination with bagseeds)
