Do you all have any advice for managing the smell while/immediately after harvesting?

I usually close/cover the vents, shut the door (with a towel rolled up against the bottom), then run a freestanding carbon filter/fan and HEPA filter/ionizer to continually scrub the air in the room while I harvest and trim (with only a few branches outside the tent at a time). I also have a bit of Ona in a cup outside the room. All of the above helps, but the rest of the day I can still smell it throughout much of the house, and it lingers the next day. Boiling water with white vinegar can help with that a bit (it binds to some of the lingering smell and pulls it out of the air), but I try to keep the smell contained to the room with the tent. Any tips?

Theres no sure fire way of doing it besides as you said keeping it contained in just 1 room also dry your harvest in a tent if you have 1 im in the uk so smell is a massive no no for me and i think ive already said putting the ona block in the hall can keep my front door smell free

Im a few says out from my first harvest. I verb worried about this. If the house smells the old lady is gonna have me sleeping in the doghouse. As uncomfortable as it might be for me I'm seriously thinking of squeezing my big ass in the floor of the tent and trying to trim inside the thing. You think pulling the extraction fan and harvesting in the tent would even help?

I use an air purifier for harvest and love how it helps rid that freshly green chopped odor sooner than later. I have a 2x2 drying tent in an unused shower stall. I slide the door to air purifier side and it does its thing.

I'm drying in the tent, which means I need to harvest everything at once -- I like to do a variety of strains in small containers, but need to pick ones that should finish within a week or so of each other.
i do a lot if not all my drying in brown paper bags as my tent is constantly in use

I've done this before and if i only have 1 plant left in there i will get inside of my 4x4 tent so its not a tight squeeze it does really help smell wise

If you can fit in the tent, go for it. I only have a 2x2 and not much of an acrobat, so it's not an option.

My first grow was a very skunky strain (apparently Cheese is a direct descendant of Skunk, who knew? :rolleyes1:), which got into the vents while I harvested and haunted the house for days, starting with a loud slap at the door. I'm trying to avoid doing that ever again. And, yes, my goal here is to not annoy my spouse.
