I got a mars II 700w first time grower but know leds from my aquariums and the light seems very solid(heavy) with powerful fans, my only 2 gripes are the hanging kit I didnt think looked as solid as the light so I replaced it with a punching bag chain I had kicking around, and where the cord plugs into the light doesnt make a tight fit on mine. If I whack my head on it (yeah I know but it happens bro) and it sways it will flicker from the loose plug.

I know it isnt exactly the same light but I hope this helps. Havent done 1 grow yet so cant comment there

I run the 1200 and 700. I love them!! The 1200 can't compete with my 1000 HPS on yield but it kills it on quality. My buddy paid 3 times more for his gro blue and I promise it's not 3 Times better. I'm going to convert my whole room to Mars led before the end of next year.
