Whats up AFN Fam. Its been along time since I was on here with life getting crazy. I was formally Sir Grow Alot and have some grows on here but lost my email and password so i am now Sir grow alotta Buds....anywayyyyys

I have just ordered the following Mephisto seeds and I would love to have Mephisto him self answer this question but am open to all suggestions.

chemdogging
hubbabubbasmellscope
ripley og
chem city blues

THE QUESTION: If i were to take one of the following strains to pollenate the whole lot of them what would you suggest to be the pollen donor? and why? will be reversed female pollen using CS on one separate plant grown indoors for ease of CS sprays and pollen collection.

I also have:

Auto coloroado cookies (DP)
auto blueberry (DP)
cbd kush auto (DP)
dark devil auto (sweet seeds)
super lemon haze auto (GHS)

I will be hitting them with the pollen as well.

I had considered trying to do a branch or 2 per plant with the CS and try to keep each plant true to itself but decided due to time constraints i wont be able to.

This is all no till in 15 gal pots, i wanted beds but will have to wait for a larger greenhouse.

So this is what i got...I will post pics once i have some to post. seeds were just ordered a few minutes ago.

Id probably have CD be the pollen donor if it were my decision, or HBSS cuz I likes me some HBSS and having more pure seeds would be nice...

Ripley og will go with any one of those. I suggest looking for a quicker Ripley without too much height. Ripleys have a nice structure and put out thick bud. The smoke is second to none!

Thanks for your inputs!! I figured I was going to get several different suggestions and appreciate the reasonings behing the selections. I have not grown or smoke any of the Mephisto gear so more info the merrier.

The more I think about it the more I think I may end up having to do maybe 2 pollen donors instead of 1?!?!??

Works fine for STS, havent had much luck with CS personally. Some say dont do it, can cause herm issues but I think if the parent doesnt carry herm traits, it shouldnt be a problem.

It’s been a few years since i last used this tech but love to learn new ways what is the STS stand for so I can look it up and maybe do it instead?

Grow them out and pick the best one. Picking a donor before you grow the plant out, is like picking a wife before you've even seen or talked to her. Pollen is more than just pollen. It carries the plants DNA. What good is pollen from a non vigorous plant with horrible branching and no smell on the stem rub? Regardless of strain, I would grow as many seeds as I could.. Pick the best plant(s), and go from there. Find a pheno you like that has traits you would want to breed with. Pollen from a crap plant will just make seeds that will grow more crap plants. Lol. Start with your best plant(s) and go from there.

Reverse several at a time and find your ideal donors? Then do the same for the mom or hit a few branches with a few donors. You will soon have more seed than you could ever grow. I would personally reverse several hbss and ripleys depending on your seed count do a few reproductions to gain a larger selection and cross a few branches. If you want to breed longer term get some top shelf reg seed from someplace like autoflowerportal to find a male. Otherwise let the Fem dust fly.

CS works well, Sts to. Make sure and get good materials either way and a good recipe.
