OK, I have been bragging about my success getting my six MI5 beans to sprout so here are some pictures. First the soil I used is an organic mix I picked up at a Big Box,Menard's, that complies with some ORMI standard. It is clearly marked don't grow in this just use it for top dressing. At that point I thought perfect I will plant my seeds in this! So I mixed this with pearlite and put it in 3 gal grow bags. I put a solo cup in the middle of each bag and pushed it down so the rim was flush with the top of the soil. Watered it 2 days in a row just short of water coming out the bottom holes. I removed the solo cup and filled the void with MG potting soil. Made a hole about ½ inch deep put the seed in and covered with some more MG. I watered it about every other day and in 6 days they sprouted up above ground. So I have done everything wrong and here are the pictures. First 3 are day 8 second 3 are day 9 from planting.
