Unless I'm mistaken I don't see a section for us michiganders! So I guess I will b starting it off. Unfortunately my doctor visit isn't until Saturday. But a couple of weeks after that I'll b carded up and legal! Until then the only current news I'm aware of is the change at the beginning of the year in which it is now only 60$ to the state to get a card. This goes for seniors and also the disabled. I only point or the disabled because they used to get a discounted rate. ....but now everyone pays 60$ for a 2 year card. Also caregivers are now required to pay an extra fee of 25$ for the background check to become a caregiver. A busy of mine said there are more new laws coming in 2016, some of which are aimed towards dispensaries. Since I opened this thread I will try to get up some further rules and regulations and I would love input from my fellow Michigan card holders and full AFN members from Michigan (carded up or not) any questions feel free to fire away and I will try to help answer them. ...... pure Michigan.

Sitting at the office waiting to see the doctor now. Very excited to b fully legal now! I'll keep things posted after my visit

Thanks @A-Train everything was a success at the doctors office. Now I just have to wait 20 days for everything to b fully legit! So happy I can safely grow now. Next step is to get my wife her caregivers license so we can really get growing lol. I will b allowed 12 plants now legally

If your wife becomes caregiver you'll be able to double the plant number. The only problem is Michigans law only lets you possess 2.5 ounces of usable marijuana per card holder at a time. It's a bit difficult to be law abiding when you can have that many plants and that few ounces of usable marijuana. It's very easy to go over limits. But you'll be legal soon, that's cool. You'll get it sorted out. Good luck.

I was told to keep my jars labeled and the ones curing and proper days on them and stuff and since it's cueing is not technically patient usable. And they don't specify a weight for caregivers. Just says enough to keep patients supplied but no specific number. I have a drug felony so I can't ba caregiver but my wife can lol

Yeah @HubbaBubba the laws here in Michigan are crazy. Set up for failure. I, as a single patient may grow 12 plants for myself BUT am only allowed to possess 2.5 ounces of usable product. I guess I better take back my 1200 and 600w LED and my AN line up and get something that doesn't work. I need to start growing 11 clones from one auto and then kill the donor auto, that way I don't exceed limits right? Lmao
